A Week Before the Deadline
April 26, 2023, the last day of the SIM Registration. Have you registered yours? According to
the SIM Registration Law, all unregistered SIMs will be deactivated automatically after the
deadline. If you fail to register, all the services you enjoy with your SIM will be unavailable. For
example, you will have no incoming and outgoing calls, texts, or internet access through data,
and your remaining load balances will be forfeited. Additionally, you will not receive OTPs from
apps with this security feature, like TOP.PH.
To continuously enjoy an active SIM's perks, we encourage you to register before the deadline
or bury a dead SIM. It's easy! All you have to do is click the links below, input your information,
submit your valid ID, and take a selfie. Remember to save your reference number. For postpaid
users, you must send "Yes" to 5858 for SMART users or text SIMREG to 8080 for Globe.
If you miss the deadline and have your SIM deactivated, you still have a five-day chance to
reactivate it. If you have a new SIM, you must register it first to use it.
The Republic Act (RA) 11934 or the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Registration Law can
safeguard mobile users against text scams and digital crimes, creating a safer community for
everyone.
